Hello friend... I'm Kylie!

Like most photographers, I discovered my passion for photography spontaneously. Art has always been a large part of my family and my upbringing, especially painting, drawing, and dancing. When I was 15 years old, I went on a trip to India and discovered that I had a natural talent for capturing candid moments on our journeys. Photography felt like a natural progression for me—like an artform I was meant to do.

After years of practicing on friends, family, and, of course, family pets, I decided to take my photography skills to a professional level with the NAIT Photographic Technology program. Since graduating in May of 2015, I have been working full time in the wedding, newborn and portrait industry, capturing amazing memories and special moments so you can cherish them for a lifetime.

Using a combination of prompts and poses, my goal is to make you look comfortable and natural in your photos, creating perfect candid moments that still have a detail oriented touch.

Here are some more facts about me...

- I married my first love when back in 2014 on my parent's farm. I can't believe that we will be celebrating 10 years this summer.

- I'm a Gemini!

- I'm obsessed with interior design and organizing! I'm constantly tweaking and re-doing things in my home. I also LOVE when my friends ask me to help them with their homes! When deciding on what to study I debated between Interior Design and Photography, however, my love for photography was stronger.

- I'm obsessed with plants. I may have a few to many, oops!

- I love photographing all the special moments in people's lives, it brings me fulfillment in a way I can't explain.

- I enjoy having a chill night in, but I also love being able to get out and dance! Give me all the booty shaking beats!

- I love making and having fun during session. I will probably crack a lot fo jokes with you as I like to think I’m a funny person.

- I don't have any children, but I do have a little Loverbird named Opal. She’s the cutest little thing but has the personality of a creature 1,000 times her size.

-My favourite thing to drink is non-sweet iced latte with double boba, or a Coldbrew with milk and a pump of sugar free vanilla.
